How much are the lessons?

Lessons at Amplified Music School are £50 for 30-minute group lessons (aged 4-7) £70 for 45-minute group lessons (aged 7+) and £130 for 45-minute 1:1 lessons. 

 

How often is the lesson?

Lessons are once a week. 

 

How many students are in a group?

We have a maximum of 4 students in a group lesson.

 

How are the students grouped?

Students are grouped on age and ability, so the class can progress at the same rate. 

 

Is there parking?

There are 2 hours of free parking outside Amplified on Green Street.

 

Can students do exams?

Yes! If students wish to go down the exam route they can. We are a Rockschool-affiliated Exam centre for Guitar and Drums and teach the LCM and ABRSM exam Syllabus’ for Keyboard and Piano. 

 

Where are you located?

Green Street Warrington, WA5 1TW, in-between Vibe Dance and Touchline, opposite Lidl and KFC.

 

Do I need an instrument at home?

Yes, after starting lessons having an instrument at home is a fundamental way to ensure that the student progresses. Practising in-between lessons is essential. 

 

What do I need to bring to my lesson?

It is important to remember to bring your music/books to your lesson and for guitar lessons, your guitar. 

 

Do I need an acoustic or electric guitar?

Either most students at Amplified tend to choose to have an electric guitar but that is down to the student's own preference. 

 

Can you help me buy the right instrument?

Yes! We can offer free advice on choosing the right instrument for every student. 

 

What age can a student start lessons?

Students can start lessons from the age of 4, for guitar, we recommend students start from the age of 6.

 

Can adults learn to play an instrument?

Of Course! Amplified Music school offers lessons for all ages and abilities, we have adult classes available for every instrument.
