Terms & Conditions

The terms and conditions for Amplified Music School described below are agreed to upon enrolment and may be changed at any time without providing notice to the student.  Our terms of business are available at any time on our website or by request can be sent to you via email.

Upon completion of enrolment, the agreement between the student and Amplified Music School will continue each month and year until the student/parent gives the notice to stop the lesson.

Amplified Music School is open for 48 weeks of the year, it will be closed for 2 weeks in August and 2 weeks over the Christmas period, the exact dates each year will be communicated to the students upon enrolment. Please make a note of these dates, when given.

Prices & Payments

Fees are paid monthly in advance via Direct Debit/Standing order. Your monthly fee is for one lesson per week. The first month is paid via debit or credit card or bank transfer. We are open for 48 weeks of the year, closing for 2 weeks in August and 2 weeks over the Christmas period. The total annual fee for 48 weeks is divided equally over the 12 months and is shown above as the price per month.

Social Media Consent

We would love to share videos and posts about how our students are progressing, therefore Amplified Music School will take photos/videos of your child for the purposes of sharing them on our company social media pages (Facebook/Instagram). There is no monetary value placed on these images/videos. Please inform us via email / in writing if you would like to opt-out of this consent.

Missed tuition

If for any reason the student is unable to attend a lesson it is your responsibility to inform Amplified Music School via email or by calling the office. Where possible an alternative lesson will be arranged subject to availability. No refunds will be issued for missed lessons. If a teacher is unable to provide a lesson, Amplified Music School will arrange an alternative lesson in lieu of the missed lesson.

Cancellation 

If the student wishes to stop lessons with Amplified Music School, we just require 28 days (4 weeks) notice to end the agreement. This should be sent to us via email or by phoning the office.

How we will contact you

Upon enrolment, we ask for your mobile number and email address, Amplified Music will use text, WhatsApp, phone calls and email to contact you. It is important to update us as soon as possible with any new contact information. Amplified Music will not be held responsible for any missed communications due to incorrect or outdated contact information.

Any personal details provided in this form to Amplified Music School will be processed (as defined by the Data Protection Act 2018) and only ever be used by Amplified Music, for the purposes of administration, internal marketing and any and all uses related to teaching and the organisation of such, it will not be disclosed to any third parties. If you wish to opt-out of marketing information from Amplified Music School you can do so in writing or via email.
